- May 23, 2017— Teen Summit To End Gun Violence on Staten Island–3-5:30pm
- May 24, 2017—Announcements with IMI and Worthy Apparel to support Gun & Gang Violence Prevention
- May 25, 2017—Celebration and announcements with the Black Institute–6-9PM Manhattan
May 19, 2017 is DAY 1 of our 6th annual Hip-Hop Against Gun & Gang Violence Week Campaign. To start the week we will launch a Special Episode produced by the Hip-Hop “Hood Report dedicated to ending the Heroin & Opioid Epidemic. The show Features Nassau County Assistant District Attorney Rene’ Fiechter, Director of Community Affairs and Chair for the Nassau County Heroin Task Force, a POWERFUL & RESPECTED group that has been in the trenches fighting the epidemic for about a decade. Also below is a Flyer announcing the launch of H.A.H.A. and D.A.D., a new Educational initiative created for STUDENTS & YOUNG ADULTS to fight the Crisis using a 21st Century strategy to finally win the “WAR ON DRUGS.”
